Privacy Policy
Atmos Performance, Inc. (“ATMOS”, “we”) makes localized cryotherapy equipment and runs atmosperformance.com, including the Members area and the Note Taker. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It is written in plain language on purpose.
What we collect
Account details. When you create an account we store your email address, your name if you give it, and your business name. If you sign in with Google, Google sends us your name, email address, and profile picture. We never see your Google password.
Session notes. The Note Taker records what an operator types: the client or animal’s name, the client’s email address, the area treated, pain ratings, movement, observations, and similar notes. These are the operator’s records. We store them so the operator can find them again and build case files.
Messages you send us. Demo requests, contact form messages, and support emails, with whatever you include in them.
Technical basics. Our hosting provider logs the IP address, browser type, and pages requested, as every website host does, to keep the site running and secure. We do not run advertising trackers or sell analytics data.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep your account working.
- To send you the emails you ask for: sign-in links, password resets, and copies of session notes.
- To let operators review their own clients’ history and build case studies.
- To respond to demo requests and support questions.
- To understand which parts of the product are used, in aggregate, so we can improve it.
Who handles it on our behalf
We use a small number of service providers. Each only receives what it needs to do its job.
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Supabase stores accounts and session notes in a database located in the United States.
- Resend delivers our email, such as sign-in links and copies of notes.
- Google handles sign-in when you choose “Continue with Google”.
- Stripe processes payments when you buy from us. We never store card numbers.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Session notes and the people in them
Operators are responsible for the notes they record and for having their clients’ permission to record them. We act as the operator’s service provider for those notes: we store them, we show them to the operator who wrote them, and we email them where the operator directs. We do not use client notes for any other purpose.
If you are a client of an ATMOS operator and want to see or delete notes about you, contact the operator first. If you cannot reach them, email us and we will help.
How long we keep it
Account details and session notes are kept while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it and its notes within 30 days, except where we must keep records for tax, legal, or security reasons. Server logs are kept for a short period and then discarded.
Your choices
- You can see and update your name and business in the Members area at any time.
- You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing us.
- You can use the Note Taker without an account. Notes sent that way go to the email addresses you type and are not stored by us.
- California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and the right to delete. Email us to exercise them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
Security
Connections to the site are encrypted. Access to the database is restricted so that each operator can only see their own records, and our staff access is limited to what is needed to support you. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and tell us right away if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
Children
The site and the Members area are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and, for account holders, send an email.
